As mamas, it’s sometimes a struggle to find that sweet spot between style, practicality, and comfort when it comes to our children’s clothes. Bean was created to address that, with a goal of providing practical, choice clothing pieces for the entire family.
In order to celebrate the Filipino culture and artistry in its latest clothing collection, bean recently collaborated with Filipina watercolor artist, Alessa Lanot.
Fusing Alessa’s creativity and bean’s expertise in making stylish yet comfortable clothing, this new collection features colorful and dainty onesies, swaddles, dresses, and rompers available in six unique designs conceptualized and designed by Alessa herself.
Meet the Maker
Alessandra Lanot, known to many as “Alessa,” is the founder of “Life After Breakfast,” a creative studio established in 2011. Through her platform, she documents her creative process, craft experiments, and shares her favorite tools and mediums with her readers.
Alessa wears many hats. When she's not busy working on Life After Breakfast, she is a consultant to several government agencies, and holds arts and crafts workshops where she shares her talent with attendees. On the side, she also sells curated handmade crafting materials and art tools on her website to provide customers with a more seamless crafting experience.
The Alessa Lanot x bean Collection
The Alessa Lanot x bean collection showcases unique designs of fruits and vegetables that you can find in your usual market basket, but this time, printed on your little one’s clothing pieces.
Alessa and bean proudly introduce Kalabasa Krunch, Luntian Gang, Ubecado Delight, Saging Swirl, Fruit Salad, and Pakwan Fun. These six designs were created to introduce a proper diet to your little ones. Healthy has never bean this adorable!
This exciting collection brings out the fun in eating fruits and veggies, where kids can be playful, happy, imaginative, and colorful as they take on their daily activities.
Your Little One’s Comfort in Mind

Each product is made with Cotton Spandex (90% Cotton, 10% Polyester), a soft and breathable fabric that does not cling to your little one’s body too much. It is guaranteed to be perfect for everyday use in the country’s hot and humid weather.
